There was a TV back in then 70s involving a married couple who did comedy skits of robots or mannequin like characters.
The one thing they had to do as part of their skits is that they cannot blink at all. A feat I think takes years of practice.
Both had black hair, the male character often used a pipe.
At the end of each show, the couple would be in bed on stage while wearing their PJs saying thanks for watching the show and goodnight.
Does anyone remember the name of that show?

That show was called The Shields and Yarnell Show
it ran from 1977 to 1978.
It starred Robert Shields and Loreen Yarnell a husband and wife mime team.
