i have really coarse curly hair. not a single straightener worked on it until i bought a CHI. definately check it out. it turned my hair into a beautiful slick shiny straight head of hair..in under 20 minutes...and i have long hair. it didnt fry my hair like all of my other straighteners did. it helped keep my hair moist. actually- i found it at JCPenny salons and they have blow dryers and curling irons too. it is over $100 dollars but i've had it for over a year now and it heats up sooooo fast and stays hot, works super fast. just the best thing i've found..and i've tried everything. even getting my hair permanently straight didnt work. only the CHI. I %26lt;3 it!!! My hair goes from a poof ball to wonderful. simple.
