I have really curly hair, is there anyway I can make it somewhat wavy or straight?

I am a guy and have curly hair and I would like to somewhat straighten it out or make it wavy and not so much like a fro. I know that people say that girls like curly hair on guys, but I dont really like the way my hair is in this stage of my life? Can anyone help me out on making my hair a bit more straight or wavy? Also my hair is about 6 inghes long. Also I dont like cutting it short because I have a high hairline and it really shows if I cut my hair too short.

Hey man, I'm in the same boat. There are two options here.

1. Use a leave in conditioner and blow dry it straight out of the shower. Products I recommend are Citreshine shampoo and conditioner and a basic hair creme or finisher, your brand of choice.

2. Shave it and go for the Moby look. Razer short looks good on some people, lousy on others. Thinner you are, better it looks. If you're on the chunky side (such as myself) best thing I reccomend is option 1.

My brother had the same problem. I am not a professional on what guys keep in track but if you wnat to get your hair straighten, go to a salon. or you can take a shower in the morning and use some straightening type shampoo and comb it back and put strong hairspray. if you would be brave enough you can cut your hair and grow it out more straight.

go buy a straightener...dont feel girly or anything if you do. it will probably look really good straightened and youll like it urself too=]

Get a straightening lotion from any drugstore and brush while blowdrying. Also if you have frizzies you can put some serum on wet or dry hair. Biosilk Silk Therapy is good. It leaves your hair soft and shiny.
