Is there anything I can put on my hair to help with my roots showing?

I was told by someone that there is something called a "hair coloring stick" that will help with my roots. I just highlight my hair and it is a light golden blonde. Does any one know of something that helps just cover up the growth? I feel like I get my hair highlighted so often. I would like to use something that could just help it a little longer.

also, some hair product lines have certain glazes you can leave on your hair that will intensify your color, and will give the illusion of your roots being less noticable. try the blonde glaze by john frieda, or sunsilk color boost from sunsilk

I don't know of anything to actually fix the color but when my roots get like that and I am not ready to have them done again I just wear a headband, the cloths ones that are a complete circle. They hide the roots well. You can even use belts that are cloth, the kind that tie of course, no buckles.

Your new growth won't be as obvious if you dye all of your hair a color close to your natural tone. Highlights are very high maintenance and this should have been considerd prior to getting them.

as a hairstylist i can tell you this. there is such a thing as a color stick, however, i am not sure how well it work if you have dark hair and color it light. i think i works better on the light hair going darker. highlighting should usually be done every 3 months i think. if you are having it done more then that it is usually because of how heavy the highlights are. you could always just do a partial highlight (like just doing the top part area and the sides) if you wear your hair down alot.

u could but on a head band/ color your hair in the front. hats, hoods, orwhen wearing sunglasses, have them over your head like a tiara.
