Hair Dye Brand?

Hi i tried dying my hair recently, used a Revlon brand

it didnt show up remotely close to the expected results on the back of the package

i'm asian and have black hair; i think this is my problem

As the daughter of a hairdresser I can safely say that your best bet is to go to an actual hairdresser.

But if you're too hard up then here's the basic idea. You can't lighten your hair without bleach. If your hair is black then you'll need to bleach it before it'll change color.

But honestly, if you don't want to damage your hair, go to a hairdresser.
